For Lazy Sunday, I've decided to do a version of a RL swimsuit that I've loved for ages. Named 'Coralie' after particularly lovely pink rose, this one piece is reminiscent of vintage 1950's swimwear. Bold black and white trim accent the softly ruched body, and a giant coordinating bloom tops off the look. Two versions are included- the classic longer style, as well as a "skimpier" version of the bottom (pictured right) for a slightly more updated silhouette.

I decided to do another costume this year for Halloween, so I'd like to present the Carhop Cutie! This fun little outfit features sculpted cuffs, collar, hat, and skirt. Also included is a tray which dispenses strawberry milkshakes when touched, and roller skates that come with an embedded skating animation. The skates are totally modifiable, so you can drop in your own poses or swap out the included non-tray holding skating animation into the AO.

I'm alive, I promise. I've decided to try to get back into the saddle after very long absence with a few simple, classically *ICING* releases.

Pink Lemonade is a throwback to the original *ICING* tea party style. A creamy strapless bodice flares out into a silky pink ombre skirt. A sculpted floral hat is included (both transparent and non transparent options are offered, to work with various alpha hairstyles.)

Ooh la la is a nautical ensemble with a Parisian flair. It's accented with brass button tab detail on the shirt and skirt and finished with white topstitching. A red sculpted neck scarf with one end casually thrown over the shoulder finishes the look.

Another costume just in time for Halloween, or just to pretty up your nightclub staff! All through the 1930s and '40s virtually every club had a 'camera girl' who would snap a souvenir picture of the club's guest for a small fee. The photos would then be delivered to the table in a distinctive envelope.

*ICING* brings this tradition back with Camera Girl, a pink strapless sheath with short skirt and black embroidery. The outfit is accessorized with black satin opera length gloves, seamed fishnet stockings, and a fabulous black mini top hat adorned with wispy feathers.

Dreaming of Australia

I know I'm a little late on the ball on this, but I recently saw "Australia" and was totally blown away by the gorgeous cinematography and, of course, the amazing outfits! Two ensembles really captivated me, and I present them here:

First up, *ICING* Ashley is based off this exquisite traveling suit. The outfit comes complete with the coordinating hat and cream gloves. Several collar/scarf options are available, and the jacket can be removed to show a cream button up blouse cinched in by a navy blue belt.

Secondly, I couldn't find a great picture of this gown, but I gasped when I saw it on film, it's sexy, exotic, dramatic and oh so elegant.

*ICING* Chinoiserie is a full length, Asian-inspired gown of chiffon overlayed on satin with a tulip skirt with dramatic train. Two versions are included, the full length gown as well as a scaled down and more casual, knee length version. Several layer options are availble for versatility, and you can control the opacity of the top by wearing the jacket layer for more coverage.

ICING goes nautical

I'm taking a quick break from flowers to sail the wild blue yonder this week! Two new bathing suits from *ICING*, just in time for the warmer weather.

First up is Ship Shape, a nautical themed two-piece. It has a striped string bikini top with a coordinating halter strap and a boy cut bottom accented with brass buttons and an optional prim skirt coverup. A sculpted sailor hat embroidered with an anchor completes the set.

Next we have Anchors Aweigh, a retro sailor style one piece. It features a halter neck style design, vibrant red waist and a navy blue bottom decorated with six anchor buttons. Two skirt ruffles are included in the set, in a matching navy blue or a contrasting white (only blue is shown in the ad.) The hat is also part of this ensemble.

I found Elle Kirshner's gossip bench so charming when I saw it on the feed that I thought it would be fun to make a lucky chair out of it. So of course I had to make a lucky chair exclusive release to celebrate its inauguration! Pizzicato Poppies is named after one of my favorite flowers, and it's a cheerful white spagehtti strap sundress adored with blooming poppies along the skirt and accented with a mandarin orange obi style belt with a bright pink ribbon.

Another new release for this weekend! Casablanca is a ivory duchess satin dress with a sculpted flounce over a slim pencil skirt and embellished with a spray of lilies across the single sleeve, bodice and skirt. It can also be worn without the sculpted portions as a more traditional strapless dress.

This gown is roughly modeled after the stunning Dior gown Dita Von Teese wore to the Chopard Trophy Award a couple of years ago. I saw it, instantly fell in love with it and wanted a version in SL, and when I finally picked up Zbrush I wanted it to be my first sculpted experiment.

Here's a slightly revamped version of the dress I gave away at the Shopping Cart Disco prom, up for sale now. Enchanted River is a ethereal chiffon gown in periwinkle. It features a sweetheart neckline, lined chiffon prim skirt and sculpted draped off the shoulder sleeves, which can be removed if you prefer a simple strapless look.

At long last, I've implemented the TMC store card system, so now you can easily gift *ICING* items. *ICING* Store Cards are a wonderful gift for your friends or partner, providing them with a fun and easy shopping experience. Instead of paying for *ICING* products, simply wear the card and click to shop!

How To Use The Card:

Wear the card
Select the item you want purchase
Instead of paying, RIGHT CLICK the item and select "Card..." from the top of the pie menu
If the item cost more then the balance on your gift card then you may have to pay the difference.

Store cards are available in 250, 500, 1000, and 2500 linden values. These cards work at all locations and can be purchased in the main store at Mischief Cove or on the Marketplace.

I felt like doing something a little different and silly this week. Marilyn is a satin halter dress with a draped neckline and a pleated skirt, available in Gold, White, Pink, and Periwinkle.

The skirt is scripted to blow up in the wind, like Marilyn Monroe in "The Seven Year Itch". Wear it like any dress, but step on the included scripted grate and woosh, up flies the skirt! Need something extravagant for New Years? I felt inspired by a recreation of Goldfrapp's Supernature album cover I did for kicks and ended up with this. *ICING* All Eyes on Me is a sumptuous gown of sapphire and emerald silk, with a painted peacock on the bodice and an oh so dramatic prim tail trailing off one side of the skirt. A bright bit of flexi prim plumage at the shoulder finishes the look. This outfit can be worn in two ways: as a pencil skirt with the feathers worn off one hip, or as a tea length prim skirt (versions for slim and curvy avatars included.)

The *ICING* Glam Stole is a soft white fur wrap in two versions: one that can be worn slung low and across the elbows or another that is thrown elegantly over one shoulder. The stoles have an embedded AO that allow your avatar to wear the various pieces naturally while standing, walking, sitting and flying. Best of all, it's modifiable, so you can customize the poses and tint it any color you wish for maximum versatility.

I've just recovered from the Best of SL's Relay for Life Auction, what a fun event! Fab designers like Nicky Ree, Raven Pennyfeather and many more modeled their own one-of-a-kind creations down the runway, and all proceeds from the auction went to the American Cancer Society. At the end of the day over L$800,000 was raised for the cause!

Pictured above is the *ICING* La Dame de la Mer, which was purchased by LE.LOOK!'s Kallisto Destiny (who was on a bidding rampage today) as a generous gift to Callie Joubert. Congratulations, ladies!

It's been so hot recently that I decided to try a little something different this week and do some swimwear. Angel Food Cake is a little bit of pinup glamour. This creamy vintage-inspired swimsuit has a bow at the back of neck and chest and a flexi ruffle at the hips. Puma Shirts and RFL results

Sorry for the sporadic updates, but RL has been consuming my free time in the most irritating way. Anyhow, to tide you over, I was requested to do the shirts from the Puma Jie outfit in different colors, so here they are in Peacock, Purple, White, and Pink. They make nice and simple foundation pieces- I've shown them here with the Puma skirt, but they mix and match well with the Girl Friday outfit!

Note that this is the first item which I'm offering with a Fatpack option. As I slowly switch permissions of the items over to Copy/Mod/No Transfer I'll probably make the Fatpack option available with all my outfits that come in multiple colors.

Okay, you knew it was coming, right? Well, here it is.

The moment I saw Anne Hathaway wearing this fabulous dress on the red carpet, I knew I had to try to make it. Miss Hathaway has a few options so you can look close to the original, or mix and match the pieces to give it a style of its own. This empire waisted chiffon gown has roses draping across the bodice and over the shoulder and has an optional flexi train and shoulder streamers (not pictured.) The roses come in two separate attachments, so you can wear just the shoulder roses, or go full bloom with both.

New Releases, fresh off the runway

Thanks for all who attended the fashion show, I hope you all had as much fun as I did! MAD Agency did an incredible job with everything and I was just thrilled with the result. Here are the outfits which debuted at the show today:

First of Spring is a fresh innocent look for the new season. Pearly dupioni silk is fashioned into a sweet babydoll which features a black grosgrain ribbon detail and a garland of creamy rosettes that drape over the left shoulder.

Puma Jie, named after my favorite crazy sock pusher, is reminiscent of the 1940's. This look features a vampy ruched, high-waisted pencil skirt paired with a crisp ruby red button up top with puff sleeves. A skinny belt completes the ensemble. Harken back to the days of black and white movies and be the one who brings a punch of bright color to that monochromatic world!

Grace is a classic tea-length halter dress of starched black cotton. Grace features a gathered bust, wide sash, and asymmetrical bow detail. Elegant and flowing, it is reminiscent of a bygone era where style was at once meticulously planned and effortlessly worn.

Finally, Shimmer is an empire-waisted halter dress done in a periwinkle floral print interwoven with silver threads. The free-flowing flexi skirt is gracefully tiered with a shorter front layer that gradually tapers to a longer back silhouette. The handkerchief hem adds to the fluidity and graceful drape of this casual dress.

Well, it looks like my damned Shuffle blew out my motherboard so I am without a decent computer for about a week. ~Cries~ So my plans for moving *ICING* and the new freebie I was working on will be delayed until my main machine is fixed, as well as any new releases until I'm up and running again. Also, my access will be touch and go until that happens, so if you have any emergencies with *ICING*, Mischief Cove or Arcana, send me an email and I'll try to handle it from my crappy little laptop. Glitterati and more Twilight colors

Miko Channels her inner Hilton in Glitterati in Onyx.

I loved Punch Drunk's Glam Rock outfit so much that I was inspired to do a "look at me!" sequined dress of my own, but with sort of a disenchanted heiress kind of twist. Glitterati is a babydoll halter dress with a spaghetti halter tie and satin trim. It comes in Sapphire, Ruby, Onyx and Amethyst.

Also, it's a bit under 30 days, but as I'll be out of town soon I'm releasing additional colors for the Twilight gown now. You can still grab the free Amethyst color in the group notification for a few days, so make sure you get your hands on it before it rolls off.

I've decided that for a girlie shop, I don't have enough pink items in inventory. Therefore I present Stepford Wife, a sweet soft pink cardigan with bow detailing and a flared A-line gray skirt.
